No matter what the game is, it’s in season!
November 20th, 2007 by SFTC PressHi folks, Capt. David here with this weeks outdoors report.
The fishing is still fairly good with the Reds and Trout in the surf. Some spots are still being caught and I’ve heard that some nice Mullet are being caught. Blues are thick everywhere and will hit just about anything. The Flounder are still around and some nice ones are being caught.
Folks with the cold weather and the water temps falling fast it ain’t going to last much longer. Take advantage of these warm days. GO FISHING! The Inlet bars seem to be the hot spot for big reds and the deeper holes just inside the inlet are holding trout.
On the hunting side, No matter what the game is its in season. Duck season is in and the reports are very few birds are here. It just has not gotten cold enough up north to push the birds down here yet. Think cold! The bucks are chasing does now so the next week or two will be hot! Get in the woods and see what you can see. If a doe walks out there just might be a nice buck following her.
Well I’ve got to get my duck boat packed and ready to hunt so till next week, be safe and take a kid with you!
