Headhunter Outdoors Report 7-30-07

July 30th, 2007 by SFTC Press

Hi folks Capt. David here with this weeks outdoors report. If you haven’t heard, the fish are biting! Offshore the same thing is happening,Kings are everywhere, Grouper,Black bass, and Snapper on the deep ledges and rockpiles. The Headboats around here are wearing them out. Mahi and Sailfish are always an option when you get past about 8 miles. Troll color changes, current rips, and weedlines or floating debris. If anything interesting is around you ought to know pretty soon.
Inside the Reds are thick and biting. Some really nice Flounder are being caught as well. I’ve heard the swing bridge is a good spot as well as the Dredge dock at the south end. The trout are thick up in the New river and the big creeks off of it. The best thing I can tell you folks is Go Fishin’. Right now is the perfect time to take the kids out and let them catch a whopper. Most all of us still remember our first fishing trip where we caught something all by ourselves. Pass that on to the next generation! Well I’m going to take my own advice and go fishing . Till next week, Be safe and take a kid with you!
