On top near shore Spanish mackerel, bluefish, & king mackerel.
On the piers king mackerel, Spanish mackerel, flounder, puppy drum, small croaker, spots, sheepshead, tile fish & Virginia mullet.
In the surf some large pompano, bluefish, flounder, Virginia mullet, puppy drum, black drum, & shark.
Inshore the flounder are bigger than they have been, catfish, speckled trout, red drum, black drum, small croaker, bluefish, pompano, & shark.
This weeks fishing tip is about fishing line. There are a lot of different types of line on the market, so recommending one certain type would be hard to do. Most of the time it depends on fishing conditions or just personal preference. But no matter what kind you use, the sun will rot it very fast, so when you’re done fishing get your rod out of direct sun light and it will last a lot longer and the tinsel strength will stay consistent. Keep fishing and stay safe.
